Overall Condition: Acid test indicates 18 karat gold clasp and chain. Most stones are cracked and chipped. Some stones are foil-backed. A few of the kite-shaped and pear-shaped metallic outlines around the diamonds have fallen off the beads. Since detailed condition is difficult to ascertain, it is recommended that any strung jewelry purchased at auction be restrung.
