32mo (2 7/8 x 4 1/8 in.) 16pp. String-bound yellow pictorial wrappers (discoloration, soiling, some misalignment; spotting to pages). One of the monthly anti-slavery publications for young readers from the Anti-Slavery Society, this work features abolitionist short stories and poetry including "God's Ravens," "The Coffle Yoke," "The Lump of Gold," "The Forgiving Slave," and others.
