A Chinese Carved Longquan Celadon Glazed Porcelain Ewer
Yuan/Ming Dynasty (1279-1644)
元/明 龍泉窯青釉模印花卉紋執壺
the gently flattened ewer rising from a slightly splayed short foot to a tall cylindrical neck, terminating with a flat mouth rim, each of the two sides is molded in relief with a roundel enclosing a chrysanthemum spray. The narrow sides with a graceful arched strap-handle and an elegantly curved spout, connected to the body with a scroll-shaped strut, all under a fine and even green glaze stopping along the foot.
