A Vienna Porcelain Urn
19th Century
depicting Mercury Pursuing Herse (Mercur verfolgt die Herse) and The Adornment of Venus (Schmückung der Venus), titled in German and further bearing blue shield mark in underglaze blue on the underside.
Height 22 1/4 x diameter 12 3/4 inches.

Condition Report
Appearing in overall good, stable, and ready to place condition. Free from cracks, chips, or breaks. Scattered instances of rubbing to the gilt decoration. There are a few rectangular spots of adhesive residue visible near the figures on one side. Minor surface scuffs and scrapes. Additional images are available upon request.
