McGRATH, Amy. Honor Bound an American Story of Dreams and Service. 2021. FIRST EDITION. PRESENTATION COPY, INSCRIBED BY McGRATH TO SECRETARY ALBRIGHT.

Inscribed: “Secretary Albright, thank you for your service & for your love of our democracy. You remain an inspiration! Live your Courage! Amy McGrath 2021.” As the first woman to hold office of the U.S. Secretary of State, Secretary Albright served as inspiration for Marine fighter pilot McGrath who was the first woman to fly a combat mission for the Marine Corps.

In original binding with dust jacket (condition generally very good).

[With:] McGRATH, Amy. Autograph letter signed (“Amy”) to Secretary Albright, [ca 2021]. 1 page, on personal stationery. In part: “You have inspired me throughout my career. Although I wish my campaigns for federal office had turned out better, I believe it all mattered & we made a difference for our Country. I hope you get a chance to read the book. I’m honored to send it to someone so distinguished.”
