FIRST EDITION, SECOND IMPRESSION (called "Second Edition") that includes corrections submitted by Hardy to the publisher in January 1875. Purdy notes that this binding probably dates from 1877 when 125 quires (and six copies in cloth) were remaindered to W.H. Smith & Son.
