Framed: 39 x 46 inches.
Significant deposits of surface dirt and dust; canvas is not lined; network of craquelures throughout the surface, with areas of tenting paint within the central waves; paint losses within upper right and left corners, as well as in scattered areas along the upper center edge; one pinpoint paint loss in center right and one pinpoint paint loss in center left. Under UV light: lines and pinpoint spots of inpainting scattered throughout the sky and along the upper edges, although some areas of fluorescence may be a result of the ground coming through the paint; possible inpainting through the central waves, although fluorescence may be a result of certain pigments used, particularly teal, light blue, and some whites.
