[NATIVE AMERICANS]. Album containing 25 photographs of Native American subjects from Indian Territory, incl. 2 images of Geronimo and works by Lenny & Sawyer and Will Soule.
7 x 10 1/4 in. album containing 25 silver gelatin photographs, approx. 5 1/2 x 4 in., of Comanche, Kiowa, Apache, Wichita, and Otoe Indians. Majority of the photographs mounted reco/verso on 7 x 9 3/4 in. album pages, most unidentified (toning, minor rippling to album pages/images; album contents separated from paper wrappers but intact).
The album features two (2) photographs of Geronimo. -- Five (5) photographs known to be the work of William Lenny and William Sawyer, including William Faw Faw, Apache Jim, and To-Wac-A-Ny. -- One (1) photograph by Will Soule showing Stumbling Bear.
