Bailey, Dix & Mead, ca 1882. Mount recto with printed copyright information. Verso with printed number, title, biographical information of subject, list of titles in series, and Bailey, Dix, & Mead credit (light edge wear to mount, else very good).
Front/Steps was a Nez Perce who joined Sitting Bull's band of Uncpapa Sioux after escaping from his band in Nebraska, ca 1878.
