RICHARDSON, James, Ed. Wonders of the Yellowstone Region in the Rocky Mountains. London, 1874. FFEP inscribed, "To Col. W.F. Cody...from an admiring friend, Glasgow 1904" (wear to covers, separation at spine, contents loose). -- SEWELL, Anna. Black Beauty. Chicago: E.A. Weeks & Co., n.d. FFEP identified to "Irma Cody" (wear to covers, contents loose).

[With:] 2 small photo albums, 5 3/4 x 7 1/2 in., or smaller. One contains 7 snapshots, 3 of which show William F. Cody (fading to prints). The second album contains 30+ unmarked images with a combination of landscape views and scenes of men farming/working in the fields. -- 12 x 10 in. album containing mounted photos and prints documenting a trip to Europe, including landmarks, landscapes, artwork, and sculpture. Many image are accompanied by manuscript notes written in an unknown hand (toning, occasional soiling, chipping, and edge wear to album pages and photographs). In comparing the handwriting with that of Cody, it is possible that some notations were written in his hand, but this cannot be confirmed.

[With:] B4 Hotel guest book with entries dating from the 1940s-1950s. Pages housed inside 14 3/4 x 13 in. hardwood covers with "Guests B4" in relief on front cover (toning to pages, some wear to wooden covers). -- 16 x 12 in. ledger with few pages of entries from Pahaska, 1922. -- The New General Atlas of the World. Chicago: Rand McNally & Co., 1902. Inside cover identified in unknown hand to "Col. W.F. Cody" (wear to covers, with contents affixed to spine with tape).

[Also with:] Assortment of more than 80 photographs, comprised of a combination of vintage photographs and modern prints/photocopies of earlier photographs, showing Cody, his belongings, Native American subjects, and family members. The group includes 2 photographs by F.J. Hiscock, Cody, Wyoming, one showing Cody seated on horseback outside an establishment, holding an infant, surrounded by a number of people (vertical folds throughout), the other showing several men sharing a drink housed in frame with subjects identified on back (unexamined outside frame), as well as 7 proofs showing Cody and members of his family. Additional images available upon request.
