Lot Description
** DWM Commercial Luger Pistol in .30 Luger

7.65x21mm. 3.9" barrel length. SN: 83061. Blued metal finish with straw and niter blued small parts and mounting checkered wood grips. Single striker action short recoil operated toggle locked autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item shows the DWM manufacturer marking of Deutche Waffen und Munitionsfabriken to the toggle link and commercial markings overall. The sideplate has been weakly struck GERMANY, and the major components display the {Crown/N} commercial firing proof marking. Serial number markings match on all parts where visible. Comes with one wood base plug magazine that is not numbered.

Condition Report

Very Good. Bore is Frosty with a light brown patina throughout and some shallow pitting in the grooves. Bluing shows some edgewear, muzzle wear, freckled patina along the backstrap and on the edges of the butt, and the finish worn down on the butt and the forward frame. The small parts retain strong straw coloring with gray patina forming over handling surfaces, while the niter blued small parts and pins retain their finish with some light scratches. Grips have some discolorations and mars overall with some residue and skips to the checkering. Magazine has insertion wear with brown patina forming in the losses and some wear on the outer edges.
