** Sporterized U.S. Springfield Model 1898 Krag Rifle
.32-40 WCF. 30" barrel length. SN: 138090. Blued metal finish with case hardened finish to frame. Walnut Monte Carlo style stock has a plain semi pistol grip and wide forearm. Bolt action rifle with Redfield Olympic peep rear sight and blade front sight. Markings include US/MODEL 1898 SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 138090 to receiver. Forend of stock is secured by a band of electrical tape.
