Single shot bolt action rifle with an adjustable tangent notch rear sight and hooded post front sight. Item features sling slots to forearm and butt. Markings include a circled 11 Radom logo, 1954 date, and matching serial numbers to parts overall. 

Manufactured from about 1948 to 1960, the wz.48 was modeled very similar to the Russian M38 and M44 Mosin-Nagants. These wz.48 rifles were used to train Polish and Czech military cadets.
