The barrel has been replaced and shows the maker mark C.C. JOHNSON. The receiver retains its original WWII German inspection stamp, along with the model mark Mod. 98. Stock features a skip line pattern of checkering molded into the wrist and forend. the bolt has been reconfigured to clear the scope, and the safety lever likewise modified. Currently mounts a tasco 3-9X32 telescopic sight with turret protectors.
