Afghan Jezail with East India Company Lock

About .62 caliber. 34" octagonal barrel length. SN: NSN. Bright metal finish. Hardwood stock with mother of pearl inlaid grip, curved butt, and inlaid forearm wrapped with three brass bands. Flintlock Afghan jezail musket with notch rear sight and what appears to be an East Indian Company brown Bess lock with rampant lion proceeded by a {crown}/3 marking. Barrel has octagonal rifling and appears to have an armorer's mark on flat of left side.

Condition Report

Fair. Bore is dark. Finish has pitting and grey patina overall. Stock has damage to buttstock and sections of pearl missing. Frizzen is missing spring. Action is functional.
