Lot Description
**Pre-64 Winchester Model 61 Rifle in .22 WMRF
.22 WMRF. 24" barrel length. SN: 294923 (mfg. ca.1959). Blued metal finish overall with polished bolt mounting a walnut semi-pistol grip stock and 17-groove forend. Slide action hammerless repeating rifle fed by an under-barrel tube magazine. Rifle mounts adjustable rear notch and front bead sights with the top of the receiver showing a dovetail cut for optics mounting. Barrel markings read WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK/MADE IN U.S.A. followed by MODEL 61/22 WIN. MAG. R.F. Both the receiver and barrel show Winchester's monogram proof markings. Serial numbers match where applied, and the stock retains a WINCHESTER marked hard rubber buttplate.
