Lot Description
*Westley Richards "Gold Name" 20 Gauge SxS Shotgun in Original Case
20 gauge. 27" barrels. 14.25" length of pull. 1.5" drop to comb. 2" drop to heel. 2.75" chamber length. Full and cylinder chokes. SN: GN121. Blued metal finish to barrels, with case hardened finish and gold accented lettering to frame. Two piece English walnut stock has multi-point checkering to straight grip and beavertail forearm. Break action side by side boxlock shotgun with a solid matte rib and steel bead front sight. Item features double triggers, ejectors, checkered wood butt, and a silver escutcheon fitted to bottom edge. Boxlock has scalloping to rear of frame, and gold accented WESTLEY RICHARDS marks to both sides. Engravings include only simple border work around throats of barrels. Barrels are marked WESTLEY RICHARDS & Co. Ltd. to right side and BIRMINGHAM ENGLAND. Comes with Westley Richards labeled green canvas and leather hard case with maroon felt interior and oiler.

Condition Report
Very good, possibly restored professionally. Bores are bright and clean. Finish is strong overall, with few light scratches. Wood stock is in good condition with only few light scratches and mars. Case shows faded discoloration to exterior, with scratches and light losses to leather.
