.357 Magnum. 6" ventilated rib barrel. SN: E62014 (Mfg. ca.1974). Nickel finish, matted top strap and barrel rib, checkered hardwood target grips with gold Rampant Colt medallions. Double action revolver with six-chambered fluted cylinder with checkered target hammer, grooved trigger face, adjustable notch rear sight and pinned serrated ramped front sight. Revolver is roll marked PYTHON .357/*.357 Magnum CTG.* in two lines on the left side of the barrel and COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. in a single line on the right side. Matching serial numbers inside frame cut out and on crane, with the left side of the grip frame marked 014 and INS. Condition Report
Very fine. Bore fine, bright and crisp with excellent rifling. Metal retains essentially all of the nickel finish with only the most minor and barely noticeable thinning or wear and only hints of a turn line on the cylinder. All markings and engraving are extremely crisp and sharp. Action is crisp and functions as it should with tight indexing and lock up. Grips with some very light handling marks.
