*3rd Generation Colt Single Action Army .44 Special Revolver
.44 Special. 7.5" barrel length. SN: SA27771. Blued metal finish with casehardened frame, polished hammer flanks, and mounting hardrubber Colt Eagle grips. Single action loading gate revolver with six-shot cylinder featuring topstrap notch and front blade sights. Item exhibits the standard make and model markings from the Colt factory described as follows: left frame displays the two-line patent mark followed by non circled {Rampant Colt}; VP monogram proof marking is struck into the left triggerguard while the left barrel shows COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .44 SPECIAL. The top of the barrel displays the COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A. address marking. The serial number matches on both gripstraps, the frame, and on the cylinder.

Condition Report
Very Good to Fine. Bore is Very Bright with some firing residues that should clean to Minty with sharp rifling. Metal finish shows a scratch through the model marking on the left barrel, flake on the left triggerguard, some light muzzle wear, and an abrasion to the top of the front sight. Item shows some further scattered light scratches. Grip panels display some signs of ageing with some light skips and loss of fine details to the logos in addition to some nicks along the butt. Cylinder shows a light drag line with the action exhibiting good timing.
