Lot Description
*Colt Diamondback .38 Revolver with 2.5" Barrel in Factory Box
.38 Special. 2.5" ventilated rib barrel. SN: D65324 (mfg. ca.1975). Blued finsih, checkered walnut Rampant Colt medallion grips. Double action revolver with 6-chambered fluted swing out cylinder, adjustable rear sight and white painted ramped front sight. Left side of barrel marked: DIAMONDBACK/.38 SPECIAL CTG. Right side of barrel marked COLT'S PT.F.A. MFG. CO./HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A. Left rear of frame with Rampant Colt logo. The revolver is in its original factory box with wood grain styrofoam insert and woodgrain cardboard slip cover with a gold end label appropriately numbered and labeled to this gun.

Condition Report
Very good to near fine. Bore fine, bright and crisp. Metal with nearly all of the blue and crisp markings but with some scattered freckles of surface oxidation, most notably on the lower front of the frame and around the crane hinge. Mechanically functional action, grips fine and crisp with only some lightly scattered handling marks. Box about fair to good with moderate wear.
