ROMAN WATER SPOUT IN THE FORM OF A MASK 1st-2nd Century AD

Cast bronze, the face in the shape of a comic actor's mask, with recessed eyes and protruding megaphone-like mouth, the hair combed and falling to the sides, raised on a bespoke bronze mount.

H: 8.2, W: 5.25 in. (mounted).
