CHANCAY FUNERARY MASK 1300-1500 AD
Carved wood, shell and hair, shown with large eyes with shell inlays, a prominent nose and short incised mouth, the brow framed by a line of hair, traces of textile remain, the reverse with a collection number reading "W.30".
H: 11.75 in.Provenance: Los Angeles private collection, acquired 1980's.
