An associated pair of Chinese famille noir-decorated porcelain ceremonial ewers 黑地瓷胎画珐琅多穆壶两只 或为一对 Qing dynasty ?

Of cylindrical form with four registers separated by bands of diaper, each decorated with still life of flowers, rockworks, birds, and butterflies, all amidst black ground, lobed mouth rim, one side flanked by a spout designed as a stylish dragon emerging from a larger dragon's mouth, and three beast-head knobs to the other side, with one cover.
