Meiji Period
of rectangular form, the exterior decorated in gold lacquer with mother-of-pearl inlays showing tall pine trees surrounded by various mons.
Length 15 1/2 x width 12 1/2 x height 5 3/8 in., 39.4 x 30.5 x 13.7 cm.
