Lot Description
Lot of 5 German Bayonets Including: Fire Service, M1884/98, and M1898
1.) Dress Bayonet by Puma - 10" blade. 14.75" overall. Single edge spear point blade with an offset fuller to both sides. Hilt has checkered Bakelite panels. Backstrap of hilt appears to be signed W. Arnold B. (S. G.) R.R. 48. Ricasso is marked with Puma logo. Possibly post-war.

2.) E. Pack & S M1884/98 Bayonet - 10" blade. 15" overall. Single edge spear point blade with offset fuller to both sides. Steel hilt has grooved Bakelite grip panels. Markings include E. PACK & S to left ricasso and 1880/i to right side. Pommel is marked with two {eagle}/WaA253 marks. Includes steel scabbard and black leather frog.

3.) 9.5" blade. 14.25" overall. Single edge spear point blade with an offset fuller to both sides. Hilt has checkered Bakelite panels, leather throat guard, and a single quillon guard. Markings include Eickhorn squirrel logo to ricasso. Includes black painted steel scabbard.

4.) 9.75" blade. 15" overall. Single edge spear point blade with offset fullers to both sides. Steel hilt has walnut grip panels and low muzzle ears. Marks include Rich Herder marks and an imperial C mark to pommel. Includes a steel scabbard.

5.) 20.5" blade. 25.75" overall. Single edge spear point blade with offset fuller to both sides. Steel hilt has grooved walnut grip panels, single quillon, and low ear muzzle notch. Includes black leather scabbard with steel fittings.
