Lot Description
**British Enfield P14
.303 British. 26" barrel length. W99201. Blued metal refinish with polished bolt set in walnut semi-pistol grip stock with full length upper handguard and featuring stock plate for a volley sight. Bolt-action repeating rifle fed by an internal box magazine mounting adjustable aperture rear and front blade sights with protectors. Rounded edges suggest the rifle was refinished on multiple occasions, and shows no visible maker mark on the receiver ring. Left receiver exhibits the standard British army proof marks and {Broad Arrow} tamp. Bolt has been force matched to the receiver. Volley sight is missing the sight leaf itself. Barrel struck with importer marking reading SPR SPT RN PA 303 P14 USA.
