Lot Description
*Colt Fourth Model .22 Derringer in Box
.22 Short. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 43267D. Painted metal finish to the barrel with nickel plated frame mounting blued small parts and varnished birdshead walnut grips. Single shot rotating breech pistol with checkered hammer spur and a front blade sight. Left barrel is struck with the three line caliber and address marking .22 CAL. SHORT/COLT'S P.F.A. MFG. CO. INC./HTFD., CT., U.S.A. Comes in a walnut presentation case with red satin liner to the lid featuring the {Rampant Colt} logo, and a red velvet liner to the box.

Condition Report
Good. Bore is dirty with firing residues throughout that should clean to Bright or better with crisp rifling. Metal finish on the barrel shows muzzle wear, scattered scuffs overall, scratches, and two abrasions running the length of the right barrel and right barrel lug. Nickel finish shows scattered scratches, thinning over the gripstraps, and some indentations to the forward frame. Finish has worn down on the edges of the grips. Box exhibits patina to the hinges and latch with scratches, scuffs, and mars overall.
