Lot Description
Randall Gambler 5" Custom
5.1" blade length. 4.25" hilt. 10.1" overall with scabbard and hilt. Single-edged spearpoint knife with 4" false edge and 0.75" grip serrations cut into the back of the blade, and mounting a brass guard, leather segmented grip and a steel pommel cap with hidden tang and threaded tang construction. Left ricasso is struck RANDALL MADE/ORLANDO, FLA between {Sabers}. Item features alternating black, white, and red spacers, and comes with a sheath marked 5/RANDALL MADE/KNIVES/ORLANDO, FLA on the obverse side.

Founded by Bo Randall in 1938, Randall Made Knives soon became well known for their quality and durability. Thousands of his hand-made knives were acquired by American military personnel during World War II, with Randall devising his first numerically assigned models especially for military service.

Condition Report
Good. Blade has clean cutting edges but shows a patch of light pitting at the right ricasso near the grip serrations. This spot has been polished clean. Further spot of gray patina on the right blade near edge. and at left ricasso. Item shows some light scratches to the guard, few faint scuffs on the handle, and further spots of gray patina and nicks on the edges of the pommel. Sheath shows some light stains on the belt loop with some tarnish to the interior face of the loop and signs of light bubbling at the top.
