Toggle link bears the S/42 code, indicating this firearm was made by Mauser, while the barrel extension date reads 1937. Item further shows {German Eagle} marking to the right barrel, barrel extension, and left bolt. Further marks include two {Eagle/63} waffenamt marks on the barrel extension with a further mark to the barrel, and another on the magazine base plug.
