**J.P. Sauer & Sohn Model 1919 First Variant Automatic
.25 ACP. 2.5" barrel length. SN: 4406. Blued metal finish with polished barrel and niter blued slide stop mounting checkered black synthetic S&S logo grips. Simple blowback operated striker fired autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item mounts front blade and spring loaded rear notch sights atop a rib signed J.P. SAUER & SOHN. SUHL. followed by {Knight} insignia. Left slide struck PATENT with caliber mark on the right reading CAL. 6.35. Assembly number 2086 matches major internal parts. Commercial {Crown/N} proof mark to barrel, right frame, and to the back of the cocking knob. Comes with two magazines in a leather holster with maker mark to interior reading Kern Klager & Cie/1940/Berlin followed by a weak {WWII German Eagle} stamp.
