8vo. Original cloth; dust jacket.
FIRST HARDCOVER EDITION. SIGNED BY KING. The Green Mile was originally sold in six paperback parts, with King claiming to have gotten the idea from Charles Dickens novels and old film serials. It was later adapted into an Academy Award-nominated motion picture directed by Frank Darabont and starring Tom Hanks.
