8vo. Original cloth (toning to top of spine); dust jacket (lacking small section of top spine, rubbing).

FIRST BRITISH EDITION. SIGNED BY BRADBURY. The Silver Locusts was the British title for Bradbury's collection The Martian Chronicles, widely considered to be one of his best works. The contents in the British edition were slightly altered from that of the American, presumably in order to lower printing costs and to better tailor its contents to a British reading audience.
