Original cloth-backed boards (very slight fading to upped edges, corners just bumped, some minor spotting to upped sheet edges); dust jacket (a few minor chips, some very slight soiling and toning). Provenance: W.P. Kinsella (1935-2016), Canadian author (inscription from Anne Tyler on the title-page).
UNCORRECTED PROOF. INSCRIBED BY TYLER TO KINSELLA: "For Bill Kinsella, with best wishes - Anne Tyler 1/8/90." Kinsella was best known for his novel Shoeless Joe. In an interview, Kinsella was asked what some of the best books he's read over the years are and answered with Anne Tyler's Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant, right after The Great Gatsby (Rob Darnell, 21 August 2015).
