Appearing in overall fairly good and sturdy condition. The gold paint is bright and appears re-decorated or refreshed recently. The proper right wing with an old repaired break near the tip. There are nicks, scuffs and scrapes throughout consistent with age and moving and there are a few rubbed sections. Minor flaking to the surface throughout revealing the wood beneath. The top edge of the stool with some negligible chips and loss to the edge, along with other small instances of loss throughout. Minor separation at the seams The book in the griffon's paw is somewhat loose. The feet with felt pad applied to the undersides. Additional images are available upon request.
