An identical example to this case was included in the 2022 exhibition Cartier and Islamic Art: In Search of Modernity. The gold and enamel case features an all-over, repeating graphic motif found in Persian miniatures, architectural elements and textiles. The case was photographed in the exhibition catalogue for the essay by Sarah Schleuning entitled An Aesthetic Exploration of the Islamic Influence on Cartier's Graphics 1909-1940, pg. 271.
