24pp., folio, 21 x 17 in. This newspaper contains a bold banner headline, "Rumors of Plan to Fix 1920 Series," followed by a detailed report of the beginning of the Black Sox baseball gambling scandal, which resulted in the indictment of eight Chicago White Sox players for “throwing” the 1919 baseball World Series against the Cincinnati Reds on behalf of gambling interests.
