Lot Description

[FLAGS]. Civil War 34-star American flag converted into a 44-star flag. 1861 to 1890.

90 x 176 in. flag comprised of 34-single appliqued hand-sewn cotton "peek a boo" stars with 10 later double appliqued cotton stars on a three-part wool bunting canton, hand-sewn wool bunting stripes. Linen hoist retains rope.
