A collection of fifteen Russian, German, and Norwegian shaded enamel and plique-à-jour and silver / silver gilt items, various makers, late 19th / early 20th century
Comprising mostly Russian items, including an oklad icon depicting the Virgin of Kazan, with hand-painted faces, with enamel and silver gilt mounts, bearing partially rubbed maker's mark possibly representing Pavel Akimov Ovchinnikov (lacking imperial warrant mark), Assay master, "AP," Moscow, 1885; a kovsch, bearing Kokoshnik mark and maker's mark for Maria Semenova, Moscow, after 1908; an egg-form box, bearing unidentified and partially rubbed maker's mark, "ДК" (?), accompanied by metal stand; a pill box, bearing maker's mark for Nikolay Alekseyev, Moscow, and 88 standard mark; a pill box, bearing maker's mark for Antip Kuzmichev, Moscow, and 84 standard mark; a compact, bearing unidentified maker's mark and 916 fineness mark; a salt cellar bearing maker's mark possibly for Ivan Saltykov, Moscow, and partially obscured assay and standard mark; a salt spoon bearing rubbed maker's mark and 84 standard mark; a salt cellar, bearing rubbed maker's mark, Assay master Lev Fridrikovitch Oleks, Moscow, 1889; a spoon, bearing rubbed maker's mark possibly representing Prokopy Ivanovich Andreyev, Moscow, and Kokoshnik mark with obscured city code; a fork, bearing maker's mark for Nikolay Strulev, Moscow, and 84 standard mark; a knife bearing rubbed maker's mark and Kokoshnik mark for Moscow; a German plique-à-jour spoon, marked "800," and engraved to bowl, "Berlin/ 1892"; and two Norwegian plique-à-jour viking boat salt cellars, one by Marius Hammer, marked with M and hammer mark and "950", the other marked "925."

with tarnishing to silver gilt commensurate with age; kovsch: with some retouching to enamel, to handle, spout tip, and along sides; tiny salt cellar: with overall darkening to gilded surface; large salt cellar: with darkening to recessed areas, some flecks of oxidation to well; salt spoon: some flecks of oxidation to bowl; egg: some dark marks / scuffs to interior; knife and large spoon: with some darkened spots of tarnish / oxidation to bowl and blade; fork: some bending to tongs, some minor polish residue to some recessed areas along handle end; icon: with some tarnishing and oxidation to gilt areas commensurate with age, enamel overall intact
