Lot Description
A French cloisonné enamel and gilt bronze mantel clock, Japy Frères & Cie, Paris, late 19th century
With domed top, each corner with spired columns, with blue and turquoise enamel, on peg feet, the gilt bronze dial and decorated with cut glass paste stones, the pendulum enamel surround enhanced with cut glass paste stones, the center featuring portrait miniature of a French noblewoman, signed “F. Mercier,” the back of clock works marked with Japy Frères mark, “Made in France,” “4603/ 411,” and “A1."
