Note:
The present watercolor was created for the related drawing that illustrates poem number nine, Die drei Soldaten und die Medizin(The Three Soliders and the Medicine, included in Bertolt Brecht's Die drei Soldaten), written in 1930 and published as an antiwar pamphlet in 1932.
