A Chinese Fahua 'Figural' Vase, Meiping
Ming Dynasty, 16th Century
with swelling shoulder over gently tapered waist, slightly flared foot, the short neck with flared lip, decorated in turquoise, amber and white with figures in a stylized landscape, jeweled garlands and cash and ingot motifs to shoulder, stylized waves to base, dark cobalt blue ground.
