A Pair of Chinese Famille Rose Decorated 'Peaches' Rectangular Jardinieres
Republic Period
each decorated with fruiting and flowering peach tree, lingzhi, and two bats to the reverse, undersides with apocryphal six-character seal-script Qianlong mark in iron-red; associated carved wood stands stamped CHINA.
Length of porcelain 9 3/8 inches.

Hubert McDonnell Snr. and by descent to Aline Mary Margaret (Elwes) McDonnell (1923-2023) m. Hubert McDonnell Jr. (1919-2004), Greenwich, Connecticut, and thence by descent.
