A Monumental English Carved Oak Tall Case Clock, LAST QUARTER 19TH CENTURY, the hood fitted with an automaton above the brass dial with steel chapter ring having Arabic numerals, further inset with day, month and second dials, set in an elaborately carved case decorated with putti, winged nude caryatids and the English coat-of-arms, the base centered with a profile medallion inscribed to the Worshipful Master Clock Makers Company. Height 130 1/2 x width 48 x depth 33 inches.
