Lot Description
Five-Piece Andean Folk Costume, 1930-60s
Costume is made of a homespun wool trimmed with brightly dyed strips of woven fabric and consists of a shirt, skirt, belt, hat and rectangular piece of fabric. Shirt is bright blue trimmed with white ceramic buttons and has a crew neckline, long sleeves, patch pockets and a center front hook and eye closure. Red skirt is pleated into a green waistband with blue ties. Belt is yellow with a central band of striped material. The rectangular piece is red fabric outlined with yellow stripes. The hard hat is covered with red fabric and edged with small triangles of mutlicolored wool. Unlabeled
