Lot Description
An Attic White-Ground Alabastron
Attributed to the Workshop of the Syriskos Painter, Circa 480-460 B.C.
Height 6 1/2 inches (16 cm).

with black rectangular panels, white zig-zags, and a meandering frieze on the shoulder.
Condition Report
Intact as preserved. Inspected with UV light, 10x loupe, and acetone test; some areas fluoresce under UV light but the paint does not lift with acetone. Typical surface wear with minor chips, crackling, scratches, incrustations, and paint loss. Other minor surface chips and cracks, not affecting the overall stability. Areas of misfiring on the body. Mounted to a modern clear plastic stand. Height with stand 6 3/4 inches.
