A Roman Marble Alexander the Great as Hermanubis
Circa 1st-2nd Century A.D.
Height 33 inches (84 cm).

Condition Report
Intact as preserved with extensive restoration to face and neck. Overall weathered surface with the hair at the back of the head reworked [the Hermanubis conical crown and scepter now missing]. Losses to the left hand and himation. Light incrustation and uneven surface patination as is typical in some areas. Broken below the knees, the surface is uneven and drilled to accommodate two metal rods for a black stand, permanently affixed. Height with base 38 inches.
