thread-sewn on canvas; hide thong lacing; body of cradle decorated with crossed American Flags and floral elements using glass bead colors of candy apple red white-heart, navy blue, white, yellow, pea green, greasy pink, translucent red, translucent green, and opaque against a greasy blue ground; tacked boards are painted with yellow and red pigment
