The 1920-1930 Federal Census lists Henry Teckemeyer (born in Missouri in 1871) as a “tinner” in Dickinson, and Franklin, Kansas. This dimensional tour -de- force was probably used to advertise his business.

Provenance:
John Boulware Antiques, Denver, Colorado who purchased it from a Kansas dealer. Boulware sold the sign to Denver collector Stuart Pernak who in turn sold it to the present owner.
