A Group of Heavyweight Champion Jack Dempsey Items Including a Letter from Tex Rickard's Widow With Fascinating Content,
comprising of a 1968 signed cut inscribed "To Buddy Lots of Luck Pal Jack Dempsey" in black ink; an original photograph of Dempsey in training with Tom Mix and George Marshall; a 1925 photograph of Dempsey's former wife Estelle Taylor; a letter dated Jan. 23, 1960 from the widow of promoter Tex Rickard, Maxine Rickard, addressed to the Editor of Look Magazine taking issue with Rickard's alleged prevention of Dempsey fighting African American boxers.
