Acquired directly from the Artist in 1981
Lot note:
In 1981 Ron Gorchov gave TAP II to Florence and Norman Ferber in exchange for a month's rent for a SoHo loft space that he found himself unable to pay. Months later Gorchov invited his landlords out to dinner as a thank you for them generously accepting barter for rent. In poetic irony, Gorchov again found himself unable to pay his bill having forgotten to bring his wallet.
